With its refreshing, crisp and clean taste, this premium beer presents light, crisp and very refreshing taste combined with medium body.

Brewed in St Petersburg it is characterized with a lower hop background than in Pilsners while higher than in Helles. Palate fullness is easily perceived with appearance of smooth and aromatic flavor and aroma.

This beer brand is annually declared "The Most People’s Brand" by the results of tasting at the Moscow Beer Festival, the largest beer festival in Russia.

The launch of the Baltika Export brand was timed to the Goodwill Games in St. Petersburg in 1994. Since then the Baltika has steadily been the market leader at the top of the premium segment. The Baltika beer is made from selective malt and rare hops and is distinguished for its special softness and fullness.

In December 2008 Baltika Breweries for the first time participated in the oldest World Beer Championships in the USA. The jury of the contest traditionally included both professional experts and common connoisseurs of the foamy drink. The samples were traditionally tasted by "blind testing", which guaranteed unbiased evaluation. The Baltika Export won silver in the "Dortmunder, Lager" category.
