Delicious, supple red berry fruit with elegance, integrated tannins and a long, pure Pinot finish. Fine weather ensured optimum ripeness at harvest time and resulted in wines of exceptional richness; full-bodied and with intense perfume.
A sensational red that is ideal with poultry and game-birds or a delicate Burgundian cheese such as Montrachet.

 

On the nose there is a heady mix of summer fruits which leads to a complex but delightful palate of rich raspberry and cassis fruit.
These wines are great examples of what makes Burgundy so special. Each appellation sang in the great 2005 vintage, the wines have a purity, richness and overall harmony that means they will develop, keep or provide immediate pleasure to those lucky enough to own them.
